Publisher Marketing: I decided to pick up the pen for the first time ever in my life October 4th 2008. I had so many thoughts oozing out of my overflowing mind, I was never the type of person to express my emotions toward anyone or anything, so I decided to lye them down on paper instead of keeping them confined. I began to share my writing with a select few, who in turn told me they were sure I wasn't the only one with these thoughts and suggested I read my work at a coffee house on open mic night. I was extremely hesitant, mainly caused by the fear of the unknown but I figured what do I have to lose. Much to my surprise the range of ages and class of people who were relating to my work simply blew me away. Numerous people complimented me and told me that I speak of things that so many people feel but are to afraid to express out of fear of what their peers might think of them. It sent a warm quiver down my spine and put a huge smile on my face, especially since I always hated people and could care less what they thought. After a while I figured if I'm receiving all this positive feedback from a small amount of people maybe it was time I shared my internal thoughts with the rest of the world. I chose to gather and put together this book which contains 141 of my poems ranging from love, hate, sorrow, faith, impurity, and the misfortunes that are derived through the coarse of time. I can guarantee that by the time you read through this book you will definitely either have been emotionally, spiritually, or psychologically captivated.
