Publisher Marketing: Introduction Nearly a decade ago, I was writing Christian articles for a prison ministry, called (ROC, or Reach Out to Christ), under the direction of my sister, Maggie Rayburn Wesley. This was a by-monthly correspondent, newspaper ministry, presenting the Gospel of Christ to prisoners in various sections of America. As indicated, my sister, Maggie, was then and now, the president of this enterprise. One month, during that period, I wrote an article on the subject, "Who Is The Holy Spirit: And What Does He Do?" Many prisoners responded to that article, conveying their testimonies of spiritual help and godly enhancement. Today, I would like to borrow that same subject, from myself, for my current composition, on the ministries of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is a member of the Trinity. He is a member of the Trinity or Godhead, which consists of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. It is essential that, we, as Christians, learn to know the Holy Spirit, not as an influence, as the "Watchtower people" would describe Him, but as a divine Person. This concept of Him will prepare us for the blessings that He wants to bring into our lives. We might ask ourselves some questions concerning the Holy Spirit. Is He worthy of our love? Is He to receive us and use us? Or, are we to receive Him only in order to use Him? Should we seek more of the Holy Spirit? Or, should He have more of us? If we, at will, may have more of the Holy Spirit, we are likely to become proud. If, on the other hand, the Holy Spirit is the One, Who should have more of us, the likelihood is that we will become humble. For us to know Him as a divine Person, to whom we should be in constant submission, will lead to the transformation of our lives. Probably, the Holy Spirit is more misunderstood than all the Members of the Godhead, or Trinity. The purpose of this book is to expose some of these fallacies and to bring into disrepute, their claims. No doubt, one reason is because the Bible says, concerning the Holy Spirit: ..". He shall not speak of himself..... He shall glorify me [Christ]" (John 16:13,14). The fact of His Personal silence, has triggered a host of false assumptions, by many. This book is designed to dispel these unwarranted conclusions. ..... The Author Robert Louis Rayburn
