Listening Day is a fantasy set in the Realm, a land of beautiful forests and deep mysteries. At one time angels protected the forests and taught the Bendigo how to walk the path of Beauty. The angels, however, withdrew from the Realm to dwell beyond the mists leaving the Bendigo to govern themselves. Fourteen year old Wylen Rashbold, disobeying his parents yet again by crossing the river Anastasis, is about to find himself pushed well beyond his limits. An unknown force sweeps through the forest, leaving him, his sister Shenna, and their adopted brother Jakk completely alone. They will be the only ones left to save Forest Rashbold and, perhaps, the Realm itself.
