1 Corinthians 13:11: Growing in the Spirit
Min. Shawn Ousley
Minister Shawn Ousley has been putting his thoughts into writing since the age of 14. Over time the content of his writings evolved and the purpose of the writings changed. This collection of poems, ponders, and prayers was written to express the changes that take place in a person as a result of a personal relationship with God. 1 Corinthians 13:11 states: "When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things." Not only must a person grow physically, but they must also grow mentally, and spiritually. There are many struggles and pains that come when you are a follower of God. The poem, "Use Me", is a statement to God, asking God to use him to spread the Word. "This Game We Play", is a conversation that a sinner may have between a fellow sinner and with sin itself. Minister Shawn Ousley prays that you enjoy the reading of this book and that God bless you.
