The Grantsmanship Basics is a correctional student guide (2007) that serves as an overview of the entire grants process, from understanding donors, grant writing, finding grants on the web, grant budget development and tracking, grant review and evaluation and managing grants. It is the concept of Jorea McNamee (and written with the assistance of a ghostwriter) on behalf of her former inmate training program, The National Social Rehabilitation and Rentry Program. She later secured the CE approval for the training course from CFRE International on behalf of her immediate family's private foundation (defunct since Jan 2015), SJM Family Foundation, which she served as Executive Director. CFRE International and their global CFRE credential are endorsed by twenty professional associations in six nations, including New Zealand, Australia, etc. Participating Organisations, included The Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP), an international professional organisation dedicated exclusively to developing the men and women who encourage charity in North America's health care systems. Established in 1967, AHP is the source for education, networking, information, and research opportunities in health care philanthropy. ( Additional information can be viewed and downloaded here: https: //docplayer.net/89763821-From-the-chair-cfre-annual-report-2.html.) In 1997, at the age of 17, Jorea founded the first national association for grantwriters, grant managers, and nonprofit personnel. The national association, National Association of Grantwriters and Nonprofit Consultants closed in 2001. Jorea later became a Nationally Certfied Psychiatric Technican and Former Texas Board Certified Criminal Justice Addictions Professisonals (Class A Status). She taught nonprofit management studies to female inmates at the Federal Correctional Institute, Danbury, CT. Jorea also graduated from the Center for Nonprofit Management program at Brookhaven College of Farmers Branch, Texas in 2008. Graphic Design by Alvin Valeza of Quezon City, Philippines.
