The stories are based on the author?s boyhood experiences growing up at No. 73 Village, Corentyne, Berbice, Guyana in the 1950?s and 1960?s. They are a reflection of what life was like for a young boy back in those days in what was then British Guiana. The stories are based on real events that took place at that time.
The poems in this compilation are wide ranging and are not limited to the author?s experiences in Guyana.
