Get It Yet?: Everyday Rules for the Game of Life
A. Hugh Schintzius
In the mid-1990s, Get It Yet? started as a poster of eight guidelines for living a good life that the author posted on the wall of his home library. Those eight guidelines came together as a result of his reading the early great philosophers, the holy writings of the major religions, and a comparative study of fifteen versions of the Bible. The guidelines are: "What you sow . . . is what you will reap" "Do unto others . . . as you would have others do unto you" "As you judge . . . you will be judged" "As you forgive . . . you will be forgiven" "As you accuse . . . you will be accused" "As you condemn . . . you will be condemned" "What goes around . . . comes around" "Every action . . . has an opposite and equal reaction" After compiling the guidelines, he began observing how people interacted with each other, positively or not; he began viewing the guidelines as "rules" for "the game of life" This book can positively impact your life and help to guide your interactions with people. You can become the role model for everyone whose path you cross and become a transformative agent by spreading this basic universal message.
