Malta Remembered: then and Now: a Love Story Margaret Dexter

I have a story to tell about living a life cart before the horse. An impulsive but opportune decision to live in England for a year became a turning point that was to forever change our lives, and a love story that moves from comfort, advantages, and travel, to life on a roller coaster. Experiencing anguish, narrow escapes, financial disaster and near-death experiences, we rose from despair to a lucky break, enabling us to pick up the pieces and begin again. I am aware that it reveals an intimate part of our lives to those who are unknown to my family and me. Yet, because it's an inspiring and "out of the ordinary" journey I invite the reader to join me. This American tribute to Malta had to be written because of the island's indelible mark on all of us.
