Sometimes, as I am in my kitchen looking through my great grandma, grandma, and mother's recipes, I can feel their presence. I had so much fun, as a girl, learning how to bake and cook. This has always been a prideful task for the women in my family. I cannot tell you what pleasure I receive passing recipes back and forth with my family and friends. The recipes I've chosen for this book are only a small number of my favorites. That will take another book to place all of them carefully on the pages for safekeeping. I hope this book of recipes will bring you and your family and friends as much enjoyment as they have mine. I tried to think of all the questions and answers that will be needed for each. I truly want you to experience the fun and pleasure that all the women in my life received from putting all their skills and love into each recipe.
