Their bond remains strong through Anna's own daughter's birth, as they search for answers to birth control. Joining the Womens Suffrage movement, staying current with world events, Anna experiences new avenues. Tragedy within the Roseman family changes the lives of each member. Her second marriage ends, leaving her without means. Adventure lures her on to find a prodigal sibling. From Prussia, to Minnesota, to Oregon and back to Idaho and Minnisota, Anna continues her journey to freedom. She finds romance and love while caring for her dangerously ill daughter.
