They discover a travel device (the magic mole) which allows them to travel to an alternate universe where every creature imaginable exists! Marcy and Sara soon learn some things are not what they seem to be. Along the way, Marcy is stabbed, they are imprisoned in a goblin village, and they are forced to work as slave laborers. The more dangerous their adventures become, the more they begin to wonder how Marcy ended up in possession of this magic item in the first place. Why her? And more importantly who is behind its giving?
