A Wyoming Legacy
Jeanne Castberg
A Wyoming Legacy takes the reader on an autobiographical journey back in time to a simpler life and a different world. In order to tell the story accurately, we must begin in the early 1900's when Kane, Wyoming was a fledgling community and was instrumental in shaping the lives of my mother's family, the Scott's. From there, life in Greybull, Casper and Powell is painted in word pictures with selected poems introduced. Sharing memories of the Scott and Northrup families sets the stage for defining the important role Wyoming played in shaping family values. It is hoped the reader will appreciate the humor found in these pages, enjoy the poetry, and engage in some individual reflections. A few pictures are included in order to personalize some of the content.
