John Otto: Trials and Trails Alan J. Kania Illustrated edition

Author Alan J. Kania has written several books about John Otto, each building upon the previous version.  The first book, "John Otto of Colorado National Monument" (183 pages with Chronological References, Index, and 45 photographs, published 1984 by Roberts Rinehard, Inc. Publishers; Boulder, Colorado     "John Otto: Trials and Trails" was the result of considerable additional research (400 pages with chapter end notes, bibliography, index and approximately 31 photographs. The hardcover edition was tightly bound with a tendency for the spine to crack and split. Published 1996 by the University Press of Colorado; Niwot, Colorado.      "John Otto: Trials and Trails" is the University Press of Colorado book with a few minor changes to the text. The chapter end notes, bibliography and index were removed. The hardcover and paperback editions were published 2008 through Xlibris Corporation's print-on-demand technology.  It is also available as an e-book.     A fourth edition with considerably new information is being considered.
