Douglas is bored, so he does what any rational person would do and decides to end it for the last time. Of course, he gets side-tracked (whilst sawing his hands off) by realising how to become God: write a book! His book is made up of parallel stories about two kids (Aria and Sol) who find themselves in a rather confusing world just behind their houses. It is somewhere between a sideways dream and a broken-down 1970's carnival ride... of course, laced with a bit of satire here and there, and possibly somewhere else.
