Eleanor Hoyt Brainerd (1868-1942) was an American novelist and journalist. Her works were found in such magazines as Collier's, The Girls' Own Paper, Ladies' Home Journal, The Saturday Evening Post, and Everybody's Magazine. The majority of her novels were aimed at young girls and were intended to be uplifting.
