This biography is about the life and times of Mohamed Kallon, a young football maestro born in the tiny West African state of Sierra Leone. He has become a great star as a result of hard work, diligence and commitment to his career as a footballer. He has talent in abundance. The path was rugged, difficult and challenging. Many look at Mohamed Kallon as someone who sailed through life to his present position with ease. This is a complete misrepresentation of reality as he started from nowhere to get somewhere. Mohamed came from a poor background and by the age of nine he left home for the streets, where he lived with friends. Food was something that he found difficult to get and he lived a stressful, difficult life in the slums of Freetown (the capital of Sierra Leone). He would sleep on market tables and would carry cartons and baskets for fishmongers just to raise enough money to buy food and school materials. This book gives an insight into the life of Mohamed Kallon from a young age to present day. It closely describes and systematically analyses his footballing career and discusses his ups and downs in the game; such as when he made history by becoming the youngest player ever to score in a Class A International and to being accused of taking performance enhancing drugs whilst with Inter Milan. This biography presents the facts as and how they occurred.
