King David's life has all of the ingredients of an action packed Box Office hit. He went from being a keeper of his father's sheep to being Israel's greatest king. He is one of the most recognized people we learn about in the Bible. David had many victories in his life, but he also made many mistakes. What makes David such a remarkable person is that he cared more about what God's opinion of him was that what people's opinion was. After reading this book, we find out that king David was no different than we are. We all have victories in our Life, but we also make many mistakes; but we like David can be "a man after God's own heart." Being a perfect Christian doesn't mean that we never make a mistake, It simply means that no matter what circumstances arise, we keep our faith in God.
