Have you ever known anyone that has either experienced cancer firsthand or been a caretaker? Chances are the answer to that is yes, and it has become painfully clear to me that at least one in every three individuals that you encounter will have an experience story to share of someone that they have known or cared about. The families that you will read about in this book are examples of touching raw emotion that exacerbates when this diagnosis occurs. The hope of each who has contributed to this book is that it will bridge the gap of communication for the patient and their families and friends.
