Jean Sanders' peaceful world is shattered one sunny Florida day when disaster strikes. Her loving husband, to whom she was devoted, may not have been devoted to her. And now he was dead. Secrets surface and mysterious individuals enter her life, some apparently with intentions of killing her. She and her faithful assistant try to unravel the mystery of why someone wants to harm her. A life dominated by efforts to conceive a child now becomes a life focused on loving other people's children and building her career. She dodges a shadowy threat that continues to haunt her.
