Some of the people in this collection are canonized by the Roman Catholic Church, some are going through the canonization process and others have no intention of being canonized but all of these people gathered here teach us how to live our Christian lives. They are ordinary people who did extraordinary things well. This book is a combination of biography, scripture study and meditation that will challenge the reader to strive and follow these men and women gathered here to be witnesses to the gospel in the twenty- first century. As St. Francis de Sales once wrote: "The Lives of the Saints is nothing more than the Gospels put into practice." This book tries to prove this point.
