Between these two covers lie poems that are golden gems, very special to me. As I read and study the bible and as I kneel at the cross and pray, I sometimes get an amazing thought. It does not surprise me if I wake in the morning with a psalm or song, including the melody, and just write it down. As these psalms come, I sing them in church and we all get blessed. For example, my most recent thought turned into these few lines from reading in John 12. Did the Greeks get a surprise? Certain Greeks came to Philip and said," We will see Jesus."Jesus said, "The hour has come to glorify the Son."A great voice thundered to the Son of Man"I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again." Unless a corn of wheat fall to the ground and dieIt abideth alone and will only be an "I"But if it dies, it shall bring forth much fruitFrom the dry ground came this new root From Jesus, to the Greeks, to us all. Reading these psalms will get you readyTo leave this world with easeSlip out with joy, like a gentle breeze The dash now reads: All fear is goneI have just gone on
