"Principles of EKG Interpretation" was written for the purpose of combining the techniques of pattern interpretation and spatial analysis of the electrocardiogram. Chapter 1 discusses EKG recorder in a way that removes the mystery of spatial analysis. Chapter 2 should allay any fear of vectors the reader may have. The normal EKG is presented in Chapter 3 and Chapters 4, 5, 6 and 7 deal with hypertrophy, bundle branch block, hemiblock, myocardial infarction and Wolf-Parkinson-White syndrome. A "Pattern-Spatial" Dictionary has been created to assist the reader in analysis of QRS complexes, which are shown along with the appropriate spatial description of initial and terminal QRS deflections.
