Annie and I are expecting our first grandchild in May. We were married six months after she told me her story. I don't know what happened to Leo or Joe. I hope I never know. I am still working as a welder in the oil construction business, but these days I work only on land where I can have my family near me. When one refinery is completed we move on to the next new job. We are called travelers, tramp workers in the industrial construction business. We move from job to job and travel all over the world. We get to see a lot of interesting places that other people only read about. It is not a glamorous life, but it is an honest one. We sleep well. This story can now be told. All the lead characters are dead. How can you know if it's true? All you can do is - trust me. We dedicate this, their story, to them. To John, who wants us to know who really is responsible for his murder. To Joe, who wants us to know that he was not impotent to avenge the murder of his wife when no one else would or could.
