There are monsters in the world and they hide amongst us. Lucas Tanner and Danielle Girdeau are amongst us as well. Led by the impassionate, and scarred Isaac Moore, they have been educated and trained to seek out these monsters and make the world safer. When a two thousand year old vampire resurfaces in America, they take the fight to him. As they struggle in a running battle against him, a reporter begins to follow and threatens to expose all they've worked for. When things can't get any worse, betrayal from an unexpected source puts an innocent woman's life in danger and they must call on the darkness in themselves to overcome the threat once and for all.
