The book contains over 100 full color fine art photographs taken in and around Boulder, Colorado. The book is a pictorial representation of a year spent on open space properties in Boulder County and is organized into four sections, each section representing a season of the year. Photographs range from 'grand scenics' of the sweeping vistas in Boulder, to more intimate landscapes of the features to be found on open space property to close-ups of some of the more delicate plants and animals. Interspersed throughout the pictures is narrative designed to bring the reader a better appreciation of the natural world in general and the wonders to be found on open space properties in the area in general.
