Hello, my name is George Polk, Jr., and the book you are about to read contains my life from childhood to this present day. My purpose for writing this book is to give hope to those who may feel that there is no Way of Escape, from a certain lifestyle of sin. I certainly pray and hope that my life story about the struggles, disappointments, and sin that I was once in, and how I cried out to God, who miraculously delivered me from the power of sin will inspire you. Feelings of hopelessness and helplessness dominated the early part of my life. I believed that God could not save certain types of people, and that I was one of those. However, now I am convinced that God has the ability and power to transform any human being and save any individual from the roots of evil. God is always there for each and every one of us, and it is our duty to seek Him out; to desire change in our life, and to make a commitment to living the life that He wishes for us. His door is open; it is simply our responsibility to walk through it and open ourselves to His love.
