The journey began with pen in hand, and a piece of paper, that became my stage to act out my feelings and finally giving my pain a name. That pain started at the age of four. So many have helped me in my journey to finding myself. Aunt Deborah, My children, the late, but beautiful Aaliyah, a few others, and my biggest inspiration then and now, Miss Janet Jackson herself. I pray the reader will walk this journey with me, and celebrate the pain, the emotion, as well as the triumphs. I encourage all to discover themselves internally...to find healing eventually.
