This story centers arround a family struggling to insure their handicapped child a better life. these series of events during that struggle happened in the early to middle 1970's in a small country town before IDEA and PL142 was implemeted in 1975 , giving these children the rights to an education. The events your about to read are my own recollections. this story is a fictional tale based on a real event,that I lived through as a little girl attending that high school, and one that still haunts my dreams at night.
