Francis' Fear of Flying Panya Henry
Francis' Fear of Flying
Panya Henry
Francis lived with her father and her brothers on a tiny island in the Caribbean. Her parents had been divorced for two years now, and her mother had moved to the United States. Francis knew that the day would come when she and her brothers would have to take a plane to visit their mother, but she never thought about it much until one day when she overheard her father talking on the phone and making arrangements for them to visit the United States for summer vacation. Francis immediately felt a sense of fear and panic. For though she knew that being on aplane for the first time would be exciting, she couldn't help but wonder if something might go wrong. Did Francis wind up taking the plane or did she conquer her fear?
