But we wouldn't go that far, feeling any such judgment would be up to the reading public as a whole. Also the content can be so close to home that it can be likened to being introduced to oneself and in that it is like looking in a mirror and seeing oneself through history. It could serve as a cover for practices of gross deceit as well. How vulnerable people, better known as the pious poor or the simple minded, were exploited gave evidence of that.
