10 Rum & Cokes
Emma Gurney
Mickey Howard is a mid-thirties medium-sized member of the working population, happily married with a rich husband and a friendly dog. Then one night out at a nightclub following one too many rum and cokes, she lets her hair down a little too far with surprising consequences. She begins to question her comfortable existence when life deals her some unexpected cards. Her family need her advice on a subject she dislikes intensely. Her work begins to suffer as the annual medical conference draws closer and her marriage takes a downward spiral leaving Mickey convinced that the only solution rests with a work colleague. What ensues is a battle between Mickey's conscience and her actions, leaving her wondering if that last rum and coke was really such a good idea.
