The one way that Clarence Taylor thought to make matters easier for himself, and his people at home, is to get North to Ohio. And start a new life there. Because, still it is the hungry years, and there's no real means of support. One's can only hope the next train ride will lead him or her to a real job in some other town. Knowing just what's coming around the next bend, is a lot to do with it's success. And even though Clarence is in the dark, and the train has gone another way then what was expected. He still has the courage to continue on.
