This is a story of how two Christmas Town misfits tried to make a last minute Christmas wish from a little girl come true and in the process saved Christmas. One was a good natured pest and the other was incapable of doing anything right. However, on this fateful Christmas Eve, this unlikely duo became Christmas Town heroes. Did you know Rudolph the "Red Nosed Reindeer" had a younger brother? His name is Randolph, and like Rudolph, Randolph had some very special physical characteristics. However, Randolph's most unique physical trait was his size. Randolph was not just larger than the other reindeer, he was "huge". Randolph stood antlers, head, and shoulders high over everyone. If you think Rudolph had a hard time fitting in with just his red nose, you can imagine how difficult it was for an oversized reindeer to go unnoticed and not be made fun of. The elves of Christmas Town take special pride in their Christmas Trade Skills. Elves make toys, bake cookies, write Christmas Cards, wrap gifts and do dozens of other special duties to make Christmas special. Well, that is everyone but Oscar the elf. Oscar you see holds the record for failing at every Christmas Trade School he attended. It's not that Oscar is dumb, he is just accident prone and he likes to day dream. These are not the qualities necessary to make a good Christmas Town elf. Santa Claus was very patient with both Randolph and Oscar and was always looking for an opportunity to give them an assignment at which they could succeed. Santa's kindness and trust was rewarded on that Christmas Eve because Randolph and Oscar indeed took on an assignment of their own and succeeded beyond their wildest dreams.
