Deep Creek Rod and Gun Club: the Beginning of a Dream Franklin Soul

This is a story about brothers dreaming about starting a hunting club, working together to build it, and watching their dream become a reality. It is about an old Army barracks being transformed into a beautiful cabin in the scenic mountains of Western Maryland near Deep Creek Lake. And it is about some of the people who were involved in the construction of this cabin and some who were not fortunate enough to see it completed. This is also a story about the friendships that have been forged through the years, hunting and working and laughing together in the cabin that we share. Our friendships can be motivational, and our stories will make you laugh and cry. We believe in our dreams and ourselves. We believe that dreams become reality when you work hard enough. And we believe that those dreams become a legacy for future generations. We hope our children and grandchildren will continue the traditions.
