As a wedding photographer, I have been witness to over 500 weddings. I wrote this book because I have seen too many wedding disasters that could have easily been avoided had the couple just prepared early. Additionally, when a bride tries to cut corners by having family or friends handle her wedding arrangements, almost without fail, something is going to go wrong. There are certain skills that true wedding professionals have worked hard to master. When it comes to a wedding, the old saying, "you get what you pay for" is not just a metaphor, it's a reality. The purpose of this book is twofold: to show the bride how, with just a little more effort, she can plan a wedding that runs smoothly, and insures her beautiful wedding photographs or video. To this latter goal, I've included boxed Photo Tips throughout the book.
