"Ladies and Whores" explores female anger in its many forms. Even in this day and age, there is a general belief that women can get angry, perform acts of passive aggressiveness that even the most brilliant of writers could never imagine, and sometimes commit acts of violence when pushed to extremes, but only to protect. To maintain the peace within their specific universe. But there is a line we would never cross simply because of our gender. Never violence just because. We are the caretakers. We are the givers of life. Meanwhile prisons are filling up with women who have committed crimes that are equal to or surpass their male counterparts.
