Gennifer Hollander leaves her father's wealth to begin her own life on her own. Then she meets Mike Tanaka. With his help, Gennifer learns to dance with Polynesians and Polynesian beliefs. Her interest is sincere. When she is chosen to participate in the religious rite those who watch her see that she is blessed by the Gods. When told she refused to believe what is told, but demands that she is just another person. When conflict arises in the family, she takes it upon herself to raise Mike Tanaka's younger brother and sister. They soon find out that their lives are happier because they are all blessed by the God.
