This book is Carl's life story. It begins with him growing up with his brothers and close family and takes you through his life, with Carl sharing his experiences up to, during and after the massive stroke which left him parlised and unable to breathe unaided. It takes you through his rehabilitation, his experiences in different hospitals and his relocation back to the community. It also tells how Carl has learnt to cope, how he has met and still corresponds with several celebrities and how his life moves on despite being "Married to the Vent."
