This is a study of the book of Revelation. In fulfillment of the first five words of Revelation, this is a "revelation of the Lord Jesus Christ." It is presented as a worship service taking place in the heavenly tabernacle and is accompanied with much praise. Former treaties made in the middle east had five basic points. God's Covenant made with Israel included the same five points. These points are used to show the progression through the book of Revelation. The end result is the continuation of the kingdom established by the treaty to successive generations. This is also presented as the position of dominion by the King (Jesus Christ) and the continuation of His Kingdom reaching to the present day. John, the writer of Revelation, was invited into the tabernacle of heaven (God's throne room). From this perspective he observes the worship and praise service and also sees events which are to take place in the near future. He sees the Lord Jesus Christ going forth in victory and leading His army of the true followers -- those who adhere to the covenant treaty.
