Steph Gordon is a beat street poet with grass roots appeal. She is a locally (Houston) celebrated poet whose writing style is charged with love for humanity. She describes her writing style as a combination of 'poetic truth, hip hop blues and rock-steady soul. Her poetry has appeared in several national and local publications. She occasionally shares her work at open mic venues in the Houston area. She baked and sold tea cakes to help finance publishing costs to make "bounce" a reality. Steph is a proud Southerner with a heart as big as Texas with raw talent just as bold. She is a personal care provider and homemaker, raising her baby girl in the southern part of Texas.
