Poetic Offerings of a Creatively Frustrated Christian Sandra C. Hall

Like many people today I was sleepwalking my way through life always taking my daily blessings for granted. Unexpectedly in November of 2002, the Lord called one of my baby sister's home. Her sudden death truly rocked my whole world. In my grief I began writing poetry. I like to think of the poems I write as modern songs of praise and worship to God. It is a way of reminding myself just how good God has been to my loved ones and I. For years I suppressed the artistic side of my personality by allowing fear of rejection keep me from stepping out on faith. I don't have that fear anymore. I believe God wants me to share the gift he's blessed me with.
