Le Petit Cajun Esprit was written for my grandson, Christian who was three years old at the time, this book was written.

I was making bread and sitting on the counter by me, of course, was Christian. He was in every adventure I experienced in my life since he was born. His Mother Donna and Father Warren were at work. So Chris and I had adventures. We played ball, we played in his little pool, we read books and took baths, had naps twice a day and  "Made Bread", every day.

Christian was full of questions, Why Mom, and What for Mom, and Me too? Mom.

Well, today the main Question was: Why don't I have a friend my age to play with?

Wow, what a question.......hmmmm. Why indeed.  So...........

LE PETIT CAJUN ESPRIT was born, and born again, and re-born until Christian had an answer to his questions of 'Why, why, why..........

            Le Petit Cajun Esprit

This book was written in the year of 1872, before electricity, phones, T. V. computers, etc., etc., what we consider the modern time.

This story begins with Christian, a three year old Cajun boy waking up from his nights rest.

As was the custom then, Christian, like other children of this era, was awakened by his mother, Julia, with a warm cup of Coffee Milk, and a kiss.  His day had begun.

Chris lived on a farm in Louisiana, in St. Mary Parish.  He lived with his mother, father, grandmother and grandfather. The farm was called "A Plantation."

Come, come along with Chris, his family and friends to play games and do chores, take naps and tell stories by the big old fire-place in the Plantation. And meet Le Petit Cajun Esprit.

   "The Ghost."

Alon, Alon, mon  ami. (Come, come, my friends) and enjoy the adventure of

 Le Petit Cajun Esprit.
