"Growing up rich with a famous family in Queens, New York - a girl gotta establish her own independence in a world full of chaos." Coming from Jamaican and Puerto Rican descents - with an enormous family on both her mother and father's side - Rhikki still feels the need to be loved and accepted for who she really is. Rhikki's middle sister, Porchuh, is a child television star who's constantly going from gig to gig. Her youngest sister, Ky'Ree, develops a language that only the three of them learn to understand and affectionately calls it Jamish. Rebellious because her mother is a singer and always on the road, Rhikki turns to the streets and encounter experiences that almost make her loose her faith and her life.
