TheKing and His Carriage is a story inspired by an administratorwho use to tell stories to Mark and his classmates when he was a youngboy in school. Tofill the position of illustrator, was a difficult,strenuous and challenging task. Onlyafter interviewing multiple qualified people for this book, Cody Zimpel waschosen for this opportunity.¿ He had theability and intestinal fortitude that was essential. CodyZimpel, while doing this project, went to school full time and had a full timejob.¿ His only reward was the experienceand exposure of becoming a published illustrator, plus a full year scholarshipfor college. Hewas referred for the position by Andrew Campbell.
