Experiences, observations, viewpoints and opinions have led to the compilation of material gathered to make up the composition of this book. Each of the writings touch upon topics that we often think of but allow our thoughts to dissipate without expressing feelings or emotions to love ones or friends. It is the author's wish that these writings will create an inner awakening and allow the reader to get in touch with their inner spirit. Today's society has placed a damper on how we show our personal feelings to family and friends. Love it seems has taken a vacation with a one-way ticket. The world today is desperately in need of love of self and mankind. Without love, we isolate ourselves and begin to look at life from the perspective of self, giving no thought or consideration to others. Hopefully the reader will take a step back and look at the world in which we live and paint a picture of them self. One should ask oneself, am I giving the best of myself, to family, friends, and the world in which I live? Am I fulfilling my purpose of being or existing? How can I make a difference?
