Edward Money
Edward Money was a captain in the Imperial Ottoman Army and the Bengal Army. He wrote about his experiences in Twelve Months with the Bashi-Bazouks (1857). He also wrote a novel; The Wife and the Ward; or, A Life's Error (1859), an essay; The Cultivation and Manufacture of Tea (1874) for which he was awarded the Grant Gold Medal by the Agricultural and Horticultural society of India in the year 1872; Woman's Fortitude: A Tale of the Cawnpore Tragedy (1881) and The Truth About America (1886).
