Reverend Arno Clemens Gaebelein (1861-1945) was a Methodist minister in the United States of America. He was also a teacher and a conference speaker. Being a dispensationalist, he was a developer of the movement in its early days. Two of his books, The Revelation: An Analysis and Exposition of the Last Book of the Bible (1915) and Current Events in the Light of the Bible (1912) explain the dispenstationalist view of eschatology. He also was the editor of Our Hope, a Christian periodical, for a number of years, and was a close assistant to Dr. C. I. Scofield on his monumental work, the Scofield Reference Bible. His other works include: The Harmony of the Prophetic Word (1903), The Prophet Joel (1909), The Lord of Glory (1910), The Gospel of Matthew (1910), The Prophet Daniel (1911), Studies in Zechariah (1911), The Acts of the Apostles (1912), The Book of Exodus (1912), The Work of Christ: Past, Present and Future (1913), The Annotated Bible (1913), Types in Joshua (1916), The Prophet Ezekiel (1918) and Studies in Prophecy (1918).
