S. E. Wishard
Reverend Samuel Ellis Wishard (1825-1915) was an American minister. He was a veteran missionary for the Synod of Utah in the early 1890s. He was appointed as a board of trustee by the Utah Presbytery in 1892. In 1905 he was chosen as the Westminster College's president but he declined for health reasons. His works include: The Divine Law of Marriage; or, The Bible Against Polygamy (1869), Some Results of Presbyterian Missions in Utah (1896), Appeal to the Judiciary Committee of the House of Representatives (1902), The Mormons (1904), The Testimony of the Bible Concerning the Assumptions of Destructive Criticism (1909) and No Salvation After Death: A False Doctrine Answered.
