Susanna Watts
Susanna Watts (1768-1842) was a British author, translator, campaigner and abolitionist. She wrote poems and pamphlets from a young age and was prominent in the abolition movement in Leicester. Her works include: Chinese Maxims: Translated From the OEconomy of Human Life Into Heroic Verse (1784), Original Poems and Translations (1802) and A Walk Through Leicester: Being a Guide to Strangers (1804).
