Richard Kearton (1862-1928) was a British naturalist. In the summer of 1896 he and his brother Cherry, a great animal photographer, reached the Outer Hebridean islands of St. Kilda and many other remote places. Three years later their famous book With Nature and a Camera, illustrated by no fewer than 160 photographs, was published. Richard's works also include: Wild Life at Home: How to Study and Photograph it (1898), Our Rarer British Breeding Birds: Their Nests, Eggs and Summer Haunts (1899), Nature's Carol Singers (1906), Wild Nature's Ways (1909), Baby Birds at Home (1912) and At Home With Wild Nature (1922).
